Project Description

Microsoft project Professional uses calendar extensively for scheduling tasks and levelling resources, but the API for calendars are not exposed to find out the working day or non-working day. It does not tell you what will be the next scheduling date for the task according the provided calendar. You can apply calendars to tasks and resources as well. In this scenario the intersection or union of the calendar needs to be considered, but this is also not exposed for the user to figure out the final applied calendar according to which the task will scheduled.

The calendar also has working and non-working exceptions. We have handled that also in our code for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly exceptions. In project professional the scheduling depends on shifts. The date time return values from our APIs will give you the working or non-working date as per the declared shifts in the calendar.
